machine can not reboot itself while ed1 is present (sources of 19th feb 2004)

Hello!

	With ed1 (Synergy NE2000 compatible 16bit PCMCIA card) being present in 
machine it can not reboot itself. It "hangs" (actually waits) after 
printing out Uptime line until the card is physically removed from the 
machine and then machine can happily proceed with the reboot. It appears 
that it can wait for very long time for me to remove the card from 
machine :) Unfortunately, I can not go into DDB while it is waiting  for 
me to remove the card.

It does not have this problem with xl card.

I used sources from today with GENERIC kernel.
