    gcc2 is always built with gcc2, no matter what CCVER says.  At least,
    it's supposed to be.  We are not trying to prevent people from compiling
    with high optmizations if they want to, we are just trying to prevent
    those configurations from getting into a self-corrupting situation that
    cannot be unwound without reloading the compiler binaries from CD.

:If we want to remove options, we should remove at least -march too. GCC2
:is known to sometimes produce bad code with this as well.
