Re: error in /usr/ports/devel/imake-4 when trying to compile emacs

and for emacs successfully to compile I also had to do this:
ln -s /usr/lib/crtend.o /usr/lib/gcc2/crtend.o
ln -s /usr/lib/crtbegin.o /usr/lib/gcc2/crtbegin.o
