:I tried to install DFly 1.0A on my laptop. I have a PCMCIA ethernet card
:(Compaq Netelligent - "xe") and I'm getting a lot of "xe0: watchdog
:timeout; resetting card" (and networking doesn't work).

    I don't think there is much we are going to be able to do about this
    now.  PCMCIA has interrupt routing issues and its kinda hit or miss
    whether a card will work or not right now.  Ultimately we may be forced
    to implement some sort of generic polling support so an interrupt is not
    required for these devices.
