Background fsck and snapshots: has been discussed, too much of a hack.
UFS2: possible, needs some work to get the block layer 64bit clean
[has to be done anyway], noone working on it

I will work on block layer and direct-to-dma when I come back, but until then if anyone wants to give a stab to the former item please do not hesitate.

The direct-to-dma is still undergoing my thought processes.
