You having the same error?

Bill

A week or so ago when something tried to build it as a dependency I
seem to recall this is the error I received.

I did major surgery, removed a ton of conditionals trying to narrow it down,
force-defined other stuff - still had contradictory errors that 'shouldn't be'.

Trying to fault-isolate, primarily. (I don't code in C, just fix it ...)

Gave it up as a bad job, as:

A) The config.in file alone is outsized enough to generate heartburn

"That's not right. It's not even WRONG!" as Feineman put it..

B) ifdefs for (any) *BSD target were conspicuous by their absence - mostly legacy 'big iron'.

C) By policy we don't use snmp(variants) *here* anyway...
(Seems each new release turns up on Secunia sooner or later...)

But I do remain concerned about the related autoconf{latest...} problem
. .. that one is too widely leaned on to long ignore....

Has anyone run into that?

Bill
