dfly hangs about a minute on the boot up when it's trying to recognise my SATA controller. But i have disabled my SiL 3112 SATA conroller in bios but it's searching anyway. i got a warning message after the acd0 on the boot up too. i have pasted a bit from my dmesg in here too.

DragonFly tries to converse with the MB ACPI, but can be
expected to do its own scan of buggy or not-fully-compliant
MB ACPI implementation and (I am guessing) all add-on
peripherals not 'known' to the MB ACPI tables.

There are configuration settings you can modify,
- start here:

http://leaf.dragonflybsd.org/~justin/handbook/acpi-debug.html

- or here for older, pre-ACPI systems and peripherals..
