booting on i915 + ICH6 SATA?

The 1.2.0-RELEASE won't boot on machine built on i915 + ICH6 SATA (it's MB 
Proactive P5GD1 Pro, in fact). With all kinds of boot options (no acpi, safe 
etc.) it gets as far as isa_probe_children (like it tells with "verbose boot" 
option) and completely stops working there, keyboard not workings etc. Tried 
changing BIOS options, too. Any hints?
