sigh.  matt, no matter what we do, as long as the bug tracker is behind your mail system and not in between, stuff won't be working correctly.  the only solutions I see are

1. integration of the bugtracker on crater/leaf
or
2. you assign a mail address to the bug tracker which only forwards mails to my hidden bug tracker mail address.  mailed submissions to this address will appear as tracker submissions.  this way we get proper mail processing and your spam filtering.
