Not up on my AHCI / IOAPIC hw specs, but the thought occurred these
fixes might relate to the IOAPIC-on-vm issues fixed in e6dee92, etc.
as IIRC the 'real' issue was unexplained missing interrupts.

Maybe worth testing w/ hw.ioapic_enable=1 by anyone who saw that?

... or I'm entirely in left field. which is possible. :D
