My name is quite unusual and normal in the Netherlands at least.  Usual
in that it has standard things like: van, der, de.  Unusual in that it
is a double last name (due to ancient nobility of my family).

But a cousin of mine's name is: Marcel Broekhoven, which is a pretty
typical Dutch example (goes for Germans as well) and is just slightly
over 16 characters.

The Indians have typical names like:

Pratap Radumarsingh, which is something like 19 characters.  I doubt you
will get many cases which are over 32 characters.
