    Huh, I definitely didn't see that... I'm just using a mail reader,
    it isn't doing any translation or formatting.

    Those errors are indicative of a hardware or memory problem.  Possibly
    heat related, possibly not.

Well, this machine is fairly old (approx. 1997), so it's possible that it's getting towards the end of its life.
