It seems to happen always after a few weeks of problemless operation.

I suspected hard drive fault, even though there shouldnt be a problem
because its running in hardware raid mode 1.

the worst part of this problem is that the server can't be restarted. if i
try to soft reboot it will get stuck on syncing for infinite amount of
time, the other problem is if i keep it running all the performance will
gradually go away, because of the stuck processes.

If it try to kill the processes the shell will hang and i will have to
open another one. Unfortunately theres noone there who can reboot the
server.

Can I get any help, its very urgent.

Thanks,
Petr
