    Often changing the port the usb keyboard is plugged into works.
    There are definitely still usb keyboard probing and bios handover
    issues in the system :-(.  The BIOS itself often has serious bugs
    in the usb keyboard emulation code that causes it to report the
    wrong interrupt assignments depending on which port the keyboard is
    plugged into.
