No problem; I'm glad I could help.  I need to learn the DFly and FBSD 
code bases better anyway.  I dropped about $100 this month to get new 
equipment and learning materials to help advance my way through this; 
so, I'd say that I'm rather committed at the moment.

I'll begin work on /dev/random tomorrow.  As for now, I must sleep.
