Build OK here - warns about an int, a/s.

Short take only - but it is 1/3 the size of 'ls', runs in single-user,
as wanted, obeys the cursor, and looks quite decent.

Will try it with TTY, ANSI, VT-100 serial terminals later...

I would want to see at least one line of 'stuff' onscreen, i.e.
reminders of how to save-exit, abandon-exit, get a help / menu listing.
- but even I can code that sort of mod....  ;-)

More later..... need some sleep.
