For e16, I've got .xinitrc

---
exec e16
---

and for e17

---
exec enlightenment_start
---

both are in /usr/pkg/bin where DragonFly installs all its pkgsrc
packages; /usr/pkg/bin is on default path, or should be. I don't know
that pkgsrc put anyting in /usr/local unless you override the standard
specs.

Files are shown by pkg_info -L packageName, eg

pkg_info -L e17 | grep e17

gives

/usr/pkg/bin/enlightenment_start
