::I have seen this too - basically system is skipping those CDs like there
:: are no bootblocks installed. I have seen this on one of my old time
::DFly test machines (Matsonic MS7112C (featuring Slot1 and Socket 370!)

::DFly-stable live CD from around middle of December which worked.

I have also created a new snapshot of current which I would like you
    to try.

    fetch ftp://ftp.dragonflybsd.org/iso-images/dfly-20050126-current.iso.gz

If that doesn't work you need to try to narrow down the date range where
the failure occurred by trying various snapshots. I looked at the diffs
between the december snapshot and now and did not see anything that could
account for the CD boot. All I can think of at the moment is that it
might be an issue with the utilities used to build the ISO, or an issue
with GCC used to build the boot blocks.
