Re: Thinkpad 570E and Cardbus errors

Hi,

Just to throw a couple of things in, I too am very ineterested with
this work because I run a WPA2-PSK wireles network at home and my
laptop has an atheros cardbus card in it. For me, that is one of the
last reason that I am currently still running FreeBSD (6.0).

I was also wondering about the atheros driver and how to get it,
including (unless I am being incredibly numb) where to put is exactly
in the tree - src/sys/dev? And what about the contrib files, in src/ ?

Hopefully having that driver in the kernel will stop my machine
hanging on startup if the cardbus card is inserted...I think its
getting mis-deteced as an rl device because it looks like its trying
to attach to it and thats the last thing on the console.

Anyways, thank you for this work!

Cheers, Alex J Burke.
